| The party began by pooling our money together and buying items we'd need for the re-entry into the Underdark. Essentially the party decided that we should complete the mission of finding the Axe of the Dwarven lords before we raise Mystra. Helping the dwarves fight off this impending doom seems higher on the priority list. The party bought healing potions and a Remove Curse scroll which we then copied into Keira's spellbook. Once a wizard in the party is of a level that he can cast Remove Curse, he'll copy it into his spellbook from Keira.
Once we entered the Underdark we ran into ogres. Keira dispatched the first four with a well-aimed ligtning bolt. We then discovered a large cavern where the ogres were convening, hiding out, whatever. With some smart battlefield tactics we took out 20 ogres plus an ogre magi. We gained quite a bit of xp and also found a nice stash of coin. Wisely, we've started a party fund. The party fund currently stands at 1,163gp.
Keira memorized the ogre hideout and then teleported us all back to Chateau Anderway. Our plan is to buy supplies with our new gold and to head back down into the Underdark again. This seems to be a smart way to explore the Underdark--gear up, kill shit, leave, recover, gear up, kill shit...etc.
So, we start off our next session in Chateau Anderway. We haven't yet found any clues as to where the Axe of the Dwarven Lords might be. Depending on how "impending" this great evil the dwarves are so scared of may be, we might have to quicken our search.

Depending on how "impending" this great evil the dwarves are so scared of may be, we might have to quicken our search. There were two Ogre Mages (Magi?) and I think it totaled between 24 - 32 ogres. Most of which died when the gnome cannon ball burped some flames.

Haha! If everybody chooses to keep calling it that Stitch has no complaints! He however, cannot be held responsible for his actions when the party continues to maintain his delusions of grandeur like this...

| Long-term memory being one of Stitch's weaker stats, he asks the party to remind him if we have any better idea of the location of the dwarven axe, besides "In the Underdark"
It seems to that the group has barely scratched the surface of that vast dungeon, and finding this treasure without more to go on could take several lifetimes.
Assuming the party encounters denizens of the Underdark that can process information beyond kill/eat/poop, gathering information before dispatching them might be of great benefit.
We need to discover some leads...

We need to discover some leads... Andreas completely agrees with Stitch here. We're walking around blindly (more than is usual) in the Underdark. We need some information. It's time to start interrogating dwarves.

| OR we could easily show them we're on the same side and ask them to give the info willingly/sober. Just a thought. | |
