August 29th

Ok folks... we haven't played all summer. Eric and I have done some planning, and the next session is going to be Sunday August 29th. Please note that this will most likely be the final session of the campaign. That means the gloves are off gents. No holds barred throw down with the big bad. He has used you from the beginning. All of the troubles you've faced in Waterdeep thus far were the machinations of Erebus Blacklance. Through treachery and deceit he has formed a very capable army of adventurers that he will use to overthrow the city's leadership and install himself on the thrown. Can you stop him?


On a side note... since we've not played all summer, anyone who gives me any lame excuse about not being able to play that day is getting a kick in the nuts. Carry on.

Since I love my nuts, I'll be there.

I believe we have a real solid session coming. Kenna, Stas, Peter, Jay, and myself are all playing. Slink might show up. We haven't heard anything from Chris or Dave yet. So, 5 PCs are a definite. The more the merrier for this session!

Dave said he thinks he can make it... so that's certainly a definite maybe lol

I'd lump Dave and Slink into that category, lol.

Just got a voice message from Dave. He's not coming... he's going to a concert. As far as I know, Ryan will be there.

Yeah, I gave up Disturbed tickets to play D&D with you --Dave ended up going. See how I feel about you guys? LOL.

Last time I saw Disturbed, the lead singer interrupted the set to go off on a 10 minute diatribe about how he doesn’t endorse making the devil horns symbol with your fingers. After the following song, he went into another lecture about being disrespectful, because most of the audience had replaced their devil horns with middle fingers.

To be fair though, listening to him be a self-righteous tool was way more entertaining than listening to him sing.

I've seen Disturbed twice. Draiman is really full of himself, no question there. At the first concert I watched him tell security to kick a guy in the front row out of the building because the guy was being disrespectful in some way. He's off his rocker if he thinks he's going to teach hard rock concert-goers about respect.

I'd rather game anyway.
