I figured I'd create a thread devoted specifically to some of the new stuff in Pathfinder (PF).

For starters, PCs gain feats faster, which is great. In PF, PCs gain a feat every two levels, starting with 1st. That means that a 20th level character has 10 feats compared with 3.5's 7 feats. Great addition there.

Also, PF gives you three different xp values to follow depending on the speed in which characters can advance--slow, medium, or fast (p. 30). This is a phenomenal improvement and will greatly help those campaigns that only meet once per month *AHEM*.

From what I can tell, multiclassing works the same. Here, we may want to take a look at the Base Magic Bonus system that Trailblazer offers. Trailblazer's system helps with the crummy spellcasting progression if you're a caster who continues to multiclass in a non-magic class. In fact, I really like Trailblazer's BMB system and I think it would be a great addition to our game.
