Erebus Blacklance

Very little is known of Erebus Blacklance. His background, associations and motives are all a mystery to you. He is the definition of a "shady NPC." What you DO know is what you've seen with your own eyes. He is a tall human with a very athletic build. He has raven black hair and an ashy complexion. He has a very hard angular face... not handsome by any means. He's faster than any man you've ever seen before. He can move at almost inhuman speeds and when he attacks, he strikes like a viper. He wields his greatsword as easily as another man might use a dagger. Most people get a generally uneasy feeling around him. Despite all that shadiness, he has continued to aid your party at every turn. He helped you fight off an ambush by the Cult of the Dragon, killed half the corrupt guards that locked you in the basement, and is probably the single greatest reason you survived that battle in the Cults lair.

I don't know if he's the greatest reason we survived the battle, but he and Olferth took out Bairwhin.

Well maybe the combination of Erebus and Olferth... that was a CLOSE battle. Without their help, it would not have gone well hehe.

If we survive the fight with the vamp, Erebus is going to have a lot of explaining to do.

Typical Mart Campaign NPC: shady, mysterious, bad-ass good guy.

I would be scared if you used a Paladin as a regular NPC. That would be suspicious!
