| The experience point total of the vampire spawn was 3500 and the lord was worth 1200. I'm adding in another 1300 because of the difficulty of the encounter. That's makes a grand total of 6000 to be divided evenly among the 6 survivors (isn't that convenient?!) giving you 1000 experience each. Jay and Pete, don't forget your 50 exp from roleplaying on the forum. Eric, you got 150 exp for your roleplaying. Jay, there is no exp penalty for dying if you don't stay dead. That was my 3.5 showing through. Raise Dead cast on a heroic tier character only costs 500 gp, which the church of Tymora expects at your earliest convenience. There was no loot, because you lost the battle and had to run away. Stas, email a copy of your character sheet to me or somethin. I'll need that before next session. | |

| Hmm...is there anything in the temple of Tymora that looks like it's worth about 500 gp? Seriously though - not that I'm complaining - but is my resurrection appropriate? I don't want you to feel like you have to throw the new guy a pity rez. It's the party's fault anyway for not sacrificing themselves to save the halfling. Knowing that your character will likely end up as a stain on some dungeon floor is part of rolling a rogue. Hell, it should be a stated class trait in the PHB. | |

| As for the rez question... the only reason Stitch is alive is because I'm enjoying that character hehe. That and my love for the random element that dice bring to the game is what made me roll for it. I gave you a 5% chance that Stitch was prepared to be kleistered and had a contingency in place. If the dice had been against you, you'd be pulling out a backup character lol. No pity for the new guy. No sympathy, mercy, or warm fuzzy feelings either. I've done as much for everyone around that table at one point or another. | |

| Fair enough. I'll definitely finish rolling up that backup character now, however...in anticipation of Stitch's nine lives running out. | |
